It\u2019s not only a powerful work of art\u2014it\u2019s a necessary act of advocacy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Arbuthnot brings over 15 years of industry experience across scripted and documentary formats. He was formerly the investment and development manager at Screen Australia.<\/p>\n<p><em>Left Write Hook<\/em> follows eight survivors of childhood sexual abuse as they take part in a writing-and-boxing program led by the film\u2019s participant and producer, Dr. Donna Lyon. It is directed by Shannon Owen and produced by Gal Greenspan and Rachel Forbes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Left Write Hook<\/em> has always been about more than a film: it\u2019s about amplifying survivor voices and showing what\u2019s possible through creativity, sport and community,\u201d said Lyon. \u201cPartnering with Jambika Docs means this story can reach audiences worldwide, continuing our work of breaking silence and building change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe got involved with this film because of its deep human connection,\u201d said Juan Solera, head of acquisitions and sales at Jambika Docs. \u201cIt tackles the urgent global issue of sexual abuse and domestic violence with empathy, dignity and strength. This documentary is both cinematic and socially vital. Its universality gives it strong sales potential to reach every regional market while connecting with their specific audiences. \u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Left Write Hook<\/em> joins a growing slate of bold, globally relevant documentaries at Jambika Docs, affirming the company\u2019s commitment to championing powerful non-fiction voices.
