BBC Three is inviting U.K. independents to pitch ideas for current affairs documentaries targeted to the 16-to-34 set.<\/p>\n

BBC Three is seeking a maximum of five projects from five different indies for YouTube and BBC iPlayer. Stories must be set in the U.K.<\/p>\n

Fiona Campbell, controller of youth audiences for BBC iPlayer and BBC Three, commented: \u201cWe are looking for a maximum of five stand-out films from five different Indies that uncover arresting characters, voices or perspectives that will resonate among 16 to 34s in the U.K. We want indies to come to us with ideas that explore a riveting world, tell a gripping story, or show confronting perspectives that reflect issues facing young Brits today.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nasfim Haque, head of content for BBC Three, added: \u201cWe want to find original stories that enhance 16- to 34-year-olds\u2019 understanding of today\u2019s world and reflect life across the U.K. in the 2020s.
