Both a Gaelic-language and English-language version of the series will air.<\/p>\n<p>The Gaelic edition will air exclusively on BBC Alba and BBC iPlayer.<\/p>\n<p>The series is funded by MG ALBA, Screen Scotland and Fremantle. The latter, which is handling global distribution, will launch the series at MIPCOM in October.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis series has been a dream come true,\u201d MacLeod said. \u201cI\u2019ve always believed food connects us, and on <em>Hebridean Baker: Nordic Islands<\/em>, I\u2019ve been welcomed into kitchens, farms and caf\u00e9s across the north, meeting incredible bakers, fishermen and storytellers whose passion for their island, culture and cuisine has been inspiring.
