The order means both shows remain on the UKTV services through 2028.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the current broadcast market, commissions of this size are as rare as a well-preserved barn find,&#8221; said Tracy-Jean, commissioning executive for factual and factual entertainment at UKTV. &#8220;We wanted to demonstrate how highly we value Air TV, the Mathewsons and our loyal audience by locking down these valuable modern classics.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Produced by Air TV, <em>Bangers &amp; Cash<\/em> follows the work of the family-run classic car auction house, Mathewsons, based in North Yorkshire. <em>Bangers &amp; Cash: Restoring Classics<\/em> sees the Bangers production team demonstrate how difficult it can be to make money buying, restoring and selling classic cars.<\/p>\n<p>Executive producers for Air TV are Andy Joynson and Morland Sanders. The series producer on <em>Bangers &amp; Cash<\/em> is Gregor Stewart and the series producer for <em>Restoring Classics<\/em> is Holly Pywell.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA simple idea, a great family of auctioneers, much-loved classics and a lot of fun,&#8221; commented Joynson. &#8220;UKTV have been so supportive and have allowed the program to be what the audience wants, and this record order is the result. The whole production team is so proud of what we have collectively achieved. Roll on episode 200!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Adam Collings, director of programming for factual and factual entertainment at UKTV, added: \u201cSince April 2019, <em>Bangers &amp; Cash<\/em> has been delighting those that know their Austins from the ACs, their fast Fords from their Ferraris and who take delight in the finding and onward journeys of a vast array of motors.
