Maxine Productions has appointed Anneka Jones, former chief content officer at Left\/Right, as executive VP of development and current.<\/p>\n
Jones will work to expand Maxine\u2019s development slate, drive sales strategy and oversee current series and feature productions. At Left\/Right, she contributed to almost every project since the company\u2019s founding in 2005.<\/p>\n
Over the last 20 years, Jones has earned credits for Showtime\u2019s This American Life<\/em> and The Circus<\/em>; FX\u2019s The New York Times Presents<\/em>; Apple TV+\u2019s Gutsy<\/em>, hosted by Hillary and Chelsea Clinton; Prime Video\u2019s Game 7<\/em>; HBO\u2019s Celtics City<\/em>; CNN\u2019s The Murdochs: Empire of Influence<\/em>; MTV\u2019s Exiled<\/em>; AMC\u2019s Ride with Norman Reedus<\/em>; PBS\u2019s Frontline<\/em>; and 20 seasons of HGTV\u2019s Hawaii Life<\/em>, Caribbean Life<\/em>, Mexico Life<\/em> and Island Life<\/em>.<\/p>\n Prior to working at Left\/Right, Jones directed and produced observational documentaries for MTV, including True Life<\/em>, Diary<\/em> and Choose or Lose<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cHaving been fortunate to work alongside Anneka for over a decade at Left\/Right, I know firsthand the qualities for which she has become recognized around the industry,\u201d said Mary Robertson, founder of Maxine. \u201cShe is a dynamic, versatile executive and producer, capable of combining journalistic rigor with strong commercial instincts.
