Dash Pictures has revealed that five new unscripted programs, including titles for National Geographic and Channel 4, are now in production as part of its 2025 lineup.<\/p>\n
This includes the six-part Genghis Khan: The Secret History of the Mongols<\/em>, produced in association with National Geographic. It charts the history of the Mongolian Empire from its time under Genghis Khan\u2019s father to its colossal rise to global power to its eventual downfall under Khan\u2019s grandson.<\/p>\n What Really Happened: American Independence<\/em>, another six-parter, tells the true story of American independence. In honor of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, it details undiscovered stories, heroes and villains of the American War for Independence. It features George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton and King George, as well as a cast of forgotten revolutionaries, including Native Americans, enslaved African Americans, German mercenaries, French aristocrats, British Loyalists and women of all social classes.<\/p>\n Genghis Khan: The Secret History of the Mongols<\/em> and What Really Happened: American Independence<\/em> are both being distributed by Sphere Abacus.<\/p>\n Also on the Dash Pictures slate is Great Estates From Above<\/em>, a four-part series revealing a new perspective of Blenheim Palace, Castle Howard, Burghley House and Penshurst Place, four of Britain\u2019s historic and most impressive estates. Using drone and aerial photography, it captures the houses, their formal gardens and wider ground in detail. Boat Rocker is handling worldwide sales.<\/p>\n Elvis & The Mob\u2014The King and the Underworld<\/em> questions whether Elvis Presley\u2019s shocking death was as simple as it seemed. Years before, having built and controlled Las Vegas, The Mob used Presley\u2019s fame to attract high rollers and launder money through the casinos. Presley\u2019s manager kept him locked into Mob-run venues.
