Three new true-crime docuseries from ABC News Studios are set to stream exclusively on Hulu in July.<\/p>\n
This includes Her Last Broadcast: The Abduction of Jodi Huisentruit<\/em>, slated to bow on July 15. It tells the story of rising TV news anchor Jodi Huisentruit, who disappeared from her Iowa apartment in 1995, leaving behind signs of a violent abduction. A major break has re-energized the case 30 years later.<\/p>\n Sparked by a 2022 20\/20<\/em> episode, a tip from one of Huisentruit\u2019s close friends led Mason City Police to reveal a secret clue they had kept hidden for decades. The new three-part docuseries features over 20 new interviews with people such as Huisentruit\u2019s family, friends and former colleagues; access to KIMT-TV, where Huisentruit\u2019s abandoned desk remains untouched; and exclusive, real-time access to the investigation with never-before-seen material and new information.<\/p>\n Her Last Broadcast: The Abduction of Jodi Huisentruit<\/em> comes from Committee Films and ABC News Studios.<\/p>\n Coming July 21, Trophy Wife: Murder on Safari<\/em> centers on a mysterious death that takes place on an African hunting trip. The death set off a years-long international investigation into the life of Larry Rudolph, a flashy Pittsburgh-area dentist who enjoyed hunting big game and had plenty of secrets, including a long affair with his dental hygienist. When Rudolph was forced to choose between his wife of 34 years and his mistress, one of them is found dead in his safari cabin in Zambia. The local authorities ruled it an accident, but in the U.S., suspicion grew.<\/p>\n The three-parter features exclusive interviews with Rudolph and his mistress, Lori Milliron, from federal prison. It also includes new interviews with Rudolph\u2019s former business partner, Milliron\u2019s daughter, the Rudolphs\u2019 insurance broker, FBI agents close to the case, the former U.S. ambassador to Zambia and more. Members of Safari Club International and several of Rudolph\u2019s former dental office employees also take part.<\/p>\n Trophy Wife: Murder on Safari<\/em> is produced by XTR in association with Rolling Stone Films and ABC News Studios.<\/p>\n The third new title is the four-part Mr. & Mrs. Murder<\/em>, from Plum Pictures and ABC News Studios. It follows the story of two close-knit couples in Tallahassee, Florida\u2014Kathy and Brian Winchester and their childhood friends Mike and Denise Williams. They were devout Baptists who shared a love for the outdoors and did everything together, including planning their children\u2019s births months apart. On December 16, 2000, Mike vanished during a duck hunting trip. With no body found, many believed he had drowned or was eaten by alligators. Years later, suspicions grew after Brian and Kathy divorced, and Brian married Denise.<\/p>\n Over the next 13 years, Kathy pursued the truth and uncovered a web of lies and betrayal. The series features an exclusive interview with Kathy, who, for the first time, recounts the steps she took to uncover the truth about Mike\u2019s disappearance, including going undercover in a tense sting operation to secretly record her ex-husband Brian. The series also includes interviews with friends and family of the Winchesters and Williamses, such as Brian\u2019s younger sister and Denise\u2019s best friend.
