National Geographic is marking the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina with a five-part documentary from Lightbox and Ryan Coogler’s Proximity Media.<\/p>\n
Katrina devastated New Orleans in August 2005. Hurricane Katrina: Race Against Time <\/em>will offer a look at the natural disaster from the perspectives of those who lived through it. It premieres July 27 on National Geographic, streaming the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.<\/p>\n Simon Chinn and Jonathan Chinn\u2019s Lightbox and Coogler\u2019s production company, Proximity Media, have joined forces for the show. The series is being directed by Traci A.
