Avotros licensed Welcome to Babel: Painting Communism<\/em> for its Close Up<\/em> strand in Benelux. The documentary follows a Chinese-Australian artist as he paints the history of Communist China and the cultural revolution.<\/p>\n Also in Benelux, DPG Media bought the true-crime documentaries Stalking: State of Fear<\/em> and The Trials of Kyle Rittenhouse<\/em>. The latter follows the trial of the 17-year-old American accused of carrying out a mass shooting at a Black Lives Matter protest.<\/p>\n China\u2019s Wild Secrets<\/em>, narrated by Stephen Fry, was presold to German-French public broadcaster WDR\/ARTE. ARTE also acquired China\u2019s Abandoned Daughters<\/em>, a portrait of the victims of China\u2019s one child policy; China: Preparing for Dangerous Storms<\/em>, investigating China\u2019s military build-up; and Mandate for Murder: Britain\u2019s Struggle in Palestine<\/em>, examining Britain\u2019s administrative rule in Palestine and its legacy in the Middle East.<\/p>\n ARTE also signed a deal for AI & You<\/em>, exploring the impact of AI on the every day, and Rain: The Untold Story<\/em>, about the science, impact and future of rain.<\/p>\n In Germany, Hearst Networks licensed three seasons of Digging For Britain<\/em> and season two of Wings of the Great War<\/em> for The HISTORY Channel.
