{"id":23100,"date":"2025-06-09T10:07:22","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T14:07:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/cineflix-rights-closes-factual-deals-in-europe\/"},"modified":"2025-06-09T11:26:26","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T15:26:26","slug":"cineflix-rights-closes-factual-deals-in-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/cineflix-rights-closes-factual-deals-in-europe\/","title":{"rendered":"Cineflix Rights Closes Factual Deals in Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cineflix Rights has closed a slew of factual deals with broadcasters across CEE, including in Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n<p>The first two seasons of <em>A New Life in the Sun<\/em>, originally produced by True North for Channel 4, were picked up by Antenna Entertainment for its AXA Spin channels across Poland, Romania and the Adriatic.<\/p>\n<p>Antenna Entertainment also acquired seasons seven and eight of <em>Ch\u00e2teau DIY<\/em>, produced by Spark Media Partners, for its AXA Spin channel in Poland.<\/p>\n<p>CANAL+ Polska licensed several food and travel series fronted by celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott for its CANAL+ Kuchnia channel. This includes<em> Ainsley\u2019s Taste of Malta<\/em> and the second season of <em>Ainsley\u2019s Fantastic Flavours<\/em>, both of which come from Rock Oyster Media Productions. CANAL+ Polska also picked up season two of <em>Ch\u00e2teau DIY<\/em> for its CANAL+ Domo channel in Poland.<\/p>\n<p>\u010cesk\u00e1 televize signed a deal for Galaxie Presse\u2019s <em>Commando Missions<\/em>, which recounts the top-secret operations behind enemy lines that were part of the Allies\u2019 strategy against Hitler\u2019s Reich.<\/p>\n<p>In Greece, Tanweer picked up a host of Rock Oyster Media Productions titles, including <em>Ainsley\u2019s Taste of Malta<\/em>, <em>Ainsley\u2019s Fantastic Flavours<\/em>, J<em>ason Atherton\u2019s Dubai Dishes<\/em>, <em>Jimmy &amp; Shivi\u2019s Farmhouse Breakfast<\/em> and <em>Dermot\u2019s Taste of Ireland<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe continued growth of the Central and Eastern European market, with new platform launches and genre-specific channels, is providing a lot of opportunities, especially for lifestyle content,\u201d said Lucy Rawson, VP of sales for Benelux, CEE and the southern Mediterranean at Cineflix Rights. \u201cI\u2019m delighted to be heading to NEM Dubrovnik with these sales already announced and a slate of fresh new titles for buyers at the market.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cineflix Rights has closed a slew of factual deals with broadcasters across CEE, including in Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1412,"featured_media":23101,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pmpro_default_level":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[69],"tags":[11065,11066,9724,245,7684],"class_list":["post-23100","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","","category-top-stories","tag-antenna-entertainment","tag-canal-polska","tag-ceska-televize","tag-cineflix-rights","tag-lucy-rawson","pmpro-has-access"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
