TVF International has added over 80 hours of factual programming to its summer slate for Sunny Side of the Doc and Sheffield DocFest.<\/p>\n
On the history slate is Channel 4\u2019s Edward vs George: The Windsors at War<\/em> from DoubleBand Films, which follows the bitter family feud between the kings.<\/p>\n The history slate also includes the CBC documentary Atomic Reaction: Canada’s Secret Role in the Manhattan Project<\/em>.<\/p>\n Two WWII titles are part of the summer slate as well. Our Dad the Nazi Killer<\/em>, from Identity Productions, investigates the alleged revenge killings of Nazis living in post-war Australia, while The Day the War Ended<\/em>, from Fun Job Studios, explores the post-war effects on the people of Taiwan.<\/p>\n On the topic of world affairs, Stacey Dooley: Growing Up Gypsy<\/em>, from Little Venice Studios, features Dooley as she is invited into the private Traveller community to meet women defying the stereotypes in the maligned minority. Additionally, is the CNA-commissioned series from Mediacorp titled Wombless: India’s Hysterectomy Crisis<\/em>, which explores forced hysterectomies across India.<\/p>\n Titles from Mediacorp for CNA are The Myanmar Earthquake<\/em> and Addicted: Inside the Global Drugs Trade<\/em>. Mediacorp\u2019s slate also includes two new specials of the series When Titans Clash<\/em>\u2014The Tech and Trade Wars<\/em>, narrating the trade war between the U.S. and China and The Tariff War Hits Asia<\/em> which explores the impact of Trump\u2019s tariffs on Asia and the world. China and the Global South<\/em> is also set to return for a second season.<\/p>\n Environmental and science titles are BBC\u2019s Are We Ready For Net Zero?<\/em> from Attaboy TV, SR\/Arte\u2019s City.Climate.Sustainability<\/em> from Qatsi.tv and CNA\u2019s The Earthquake Detectives<\/em> from Mediacorp. Additionally, The Carbon Hunters<\/em> from CIPM brings viewers on a journey to unravel the secrets of the element. Rounding out TVF\u2019s science offerings is the Visions du R\u00e9el documentary from Jeffrey Zablotny Messengers<\/em>, which is an exploration of the endless vastness of the universe.<\/p>\n On the health and relationships front is the medical ob-doc series Transplant Stories<\/em> for Knowledge Network, TBS\u2019 Childhood Obesity: A Silent Pandemic<\/em> for Movistar Plus+ and My AI Relationship<\/em> from Artefact Films.<\/p>\n Wildlife titles are Discovery\u2019s Bull Shark Face Off: USA vs Australia<\/em> from Breakout Productions, ZDF\/Arte\u2019s Wild Family: Living with Jaguars<\/em> from Grifa Films and EBS\u2019 The Pacific Ocean<\/em>. The final wildlife offering is The Cradle of Nature<\/em> for Migu, exploring the ecosystem of Qinghai-Tibet. Plateau.<\/p>\n TVF has added Knowledge Network\u2019s Wildfire from Burning Films<\/em>, paired with fishing series Untamed Anglers: The Monster Quest<\/em> and Licence to Drive<\/em> from Sweet Productions for Sky NZ, which follows young drivers with disabilities learning to take the wheel.<\/p>\n Lastly, in arts and lifestyle the distributor is launching the biopic Rauschenberg: Everything is Art<\/em> from Brandmedia Film and aerial documentaries Cambodia From Above<\/em> and Castles From Above<\/em> (season two).
