V10 Entertainment has named Paramount alum Samantha Cooper as head of international licensing and business development, where she will continue to lead V10\u2019s expansion of its New York offices.<\/p>\n
In her new role, Cooper will be reporting to V10\u2019s president, Carter Skeath. She will focus on global licensing, along with furthering library acquisitions and strategic partnerships.<\/p>\n
V10 Entertainment\u2019s portfolio of companies includes Venture 10 Studio Group, Vin Di Bona Productions (America\u2019s Funniest Home Videos<\/em>), Fishbowl Media Worldwide, Home Video Licensing (HVL.com) and V10 Digital.<\/p>\n Cooper will oversee V10’s recently acquired global distribution rights for America’s Funniest Videos<\/em> and oversee sales of Follow Me<\/em>, Totally Funny Kids & Animals<\/em>, Blue Collar Auction<\/em>, World\u2019s Funniest Videos<\/em> and the sports docuseries Arch Racing<\/em> with Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger slated to bow in 2026.<\/p>\n Cooper’s previous experience includes holding senior leadership positions at Viacom and Paramount Global. At Paramount, as executive VP of global content licensing, she managed billions of dollars of revenue, extending to over a billion in annual global SVOD streaming revenue. Cooper’s portfolio included original content from Paramount Pictures\u2019 film library, CBS, Showtime, MTV Entertainment Group and Nickelodeon, as well as original content from Paramount+, Viacom International Studios and CBS News\/Films. She also helped negotiate the company’s first advanced advertising deal with Netflix\u2019s programming and ad teams.<\/p>\n At Viacom, Cooper managed business that represented a significant portion of the company\u2019s total revenue, leading to deal renewals representing over 80 percent of the subscriber base.
