Her husband, Michael, emerged as the prime suspect after rumors of infidelity, but he provided a solid alibi. Three decades later, his alleged mistress was arrested for the murder.<\/p>\n<p>The three-parter reexamines the case through interviews with investigators, attorneys for the defense and prosecution, Marlene\u2019s son and others close to Michael and Marlene, and seeks to unravel the motives behind the murder.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Killer Clown: Murder on the Doorstep<\/em> is directed and produced by Ellie Merz (<em>Untold<\/em>). It comes from Flicker Productions. BossaNova Media is handling distribution.<\/p>\n<p>The series will be available to stream in full on Sundance Now and AMC+ on June 5.
