Matthew Modine, Adam Rackoff and their Cinco Dedos Peliculas production company have boarded Partickular Films and Two Rivers Media\u2019s documentary Michael Caton-Jones: This Broxburn Boy\u2019s Life.<\/p>\n
The co-production explores Michael Caton-Jones\u2019 rise from a working-class mining village in Broxburn, near Edinburgh, to the heights of fame as a Hollywood director, with credits for Memphis Belle<\/em>, Doc Hollywood<\/em>, This Boy\u2019s Life<\/em>, Rob Roy<\/em>, The Jackal<\/em> and many more.<\/p>\n The film will feature interviews with Caton-Jones and those who worked with him throughout his career, including David Putnam, Tim Roth, Letitia Wright, Ron Perlman, Ewen Bremner and David Hayman. The documentary will also include never-before-seen archive material.<\/p>\n Modine, who played Captain Dennis Dearborn in Caton-Jones\u2019 second feature, Memphis Belle<\/em>, and Rackoff will serve as executive producers for the project. Modine is an actor and producer, and Rackoff is a former Apple marketing executive. The two have executive produced a number of films, including their recent documentary Downwind<\/em>.<\/p>\n Also on board are Emmy Award-winning composers Roddy Hart and Tommy Reilly of Hart Reilly Music, whose recent credits include the Roger Moore documentary From Roger With Love<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cNot only is this film the story of how a young, working-class man became one of the most exacting directors in the business, it tells how Hollywood embraced this driven Scot,\u201d said Alan Clements, managing director and executive producer at Two Rivers Media. \u201cWe are delighted to have secured so much unique and exclusive material with which to tell this inspiring story.
