ITV has ordered the six-part series Fern Britton: Inside the Vet\u2019s<\/em> from Love Monday TV for ITV1 and ITVX.<\/p>\n

The series sees Britton go behind the scenes at The Grove Vets in Bristol, a small family-run practice that provides care to hundreds of pets every week. Vet James Greenwood (Morning Live<\/em>, The Pets Fact<\/em>) takes her through the range of treatments they provide, from routine vaccinations, dentistry and spays to emergency and critical care.<\/p>\n

The show marks Love Monday\u2019s first move into advertiser-funded programming (AFP), with insurer Petplan partnering to bring the show to life.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery pet has their story and every owner has theirs, so I\u2019m absolutely thrilled to be part of this new series for ITV,\u201d Britton said. \u201cAnimals have always been a huge love of mine, and getting a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible work the veterinary team does every day has been a privilege.<\/p>\n

\u201cHanding your pet over to the vet for any procedure is a worrying time. This series gives us a glimpse of what happens beyond the consulting room door and is full of heart, fascinating stories and, of course, plenty of adorable animals\u2014I can\u2019t wait to share it with viewers!\u201d<\/p>\n
