The three-part docuseries exposes the Italian criminal syndicate \u2019Ndrangheta and its hidden stronghold in Toronto. It features unprecedented access to police wiretaps, confidential case files and exclusive interviews with mob hitmen.<\/p>\n<p><em>Mafia: Most Wanted<\/em> is produced by Screen Siren Pictures in association with Last Word Entertainment and in association with Bell Media.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Mafia is no longer controlled by the Five Families; the real power now lies in Toronto and Calabria, not New York or Sicily,\u201d said Fynbo, president and executive producer at Last Word Entertainment. \u201cThis Mafia underworld has long been hidden, and <em>Mafia: Most Wanted<\/em> is about to change that. Launching Last Word Entertainment is about that same drive: pushing boundaries, uncovering the untold and telling stories that demand to be heard. <em>Mafia: Most Wanted<\/em> is just the beginning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fynbo has made a name for herself as a seasoned executive producer specializing in investigative true crime. Her credits include <em>Drug Lords: The Takedown<\/em>, <em>Hunt for the Truth<\/em> and <em>Escobar Exposed<\/em>.\u00a0Previously, Fynbo spent nearly 20 years at Beyond Rights, where she played a key role in launching franchises such as <em>Love It or List It<\/em> and <em>Highway Thru Hell<\/em> and securing distribution deals with networks and platforms such as Discovery Channel, HGTV, Netflix and National Geographic.<\/p>\n<p>Executive producer James Carroll is teaming up with Fynbo.
