TVF International has secured sales for a number of titles, including Arming the Arctic<\/em>, with partners across Germany and France.<\/p>\n

RTL Germany pre-bought Arming the Arctic<\/em> for its NTV channel. A co-production between Wildcat Films and TVF International, the investigative one-off uncovers how the Arctic is quickly becoming the latest geopolitical battleground between East and West.<\/p>\n

The miniseries 1979: The Year of the Islamist Revolution<\/em> is heading to Germany and France via a public broadcaster partnership with ZDF\/ARTE.<\/p>\n

The aerial documentary series Italy from Above<\/em>, Spain from Above<\/em> and the fourth season of Aerial Profiles<\/em> were picked up by Germany’s ZDF. The pubcaster also licensed aerial documentaries: Oman from Above<\/em>, Iceland from Above<\/em> and Luxembourg and Belgium from Above<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Ushuaia TV\u2019s Eco-Heroines<\/em> was acquired by Germany’s Docs de Cologne, which also picked up Bear: Koala Hero from Butter Media<\/em>. The former spotlights female conservationists around the globe, while the latter is about the <\/span>koala detection dog turned international hero.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The beetz brothers\u2019 production Supernova: The Music Festival Massacre<\/em> sold to CANAL+ in France and French-language Belgian pubcaster RTBF. The film chronicles the events of October 7, 2023, using eyewitness testimony and video evidence.<\/p>\n

CANAL+ France also picked up the Mediacorp-produced The Negotiators International<\/em>, which offers exclusive access into the world of hostage negotiations.<\/p>\n

Mediacorp’s Walk the Line<\/em>, which follows Chinese migrants attempting to journey across the notorious Dari\u00e9n Gap, was sold to ARTE.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in France, Mediawan Thematics opted for a number of science titles, including AI at Work<\/em>, which examines the implications of AI on the modern workforce, and Bending Light<\/em>, which revisits a 1922 expedition to Australia that sought to prove Einstein\u2019s theory of relativity.<\/p>\n

Deals in France were brokered by senior sales executive for Europe, Ben Nohr, and all German deals by senior sales manager, Daniyal Bari, who commented: \u201cBroadcasters across France and Germany are advocates of quality factual storytelling, which resonates with our values as a distributor.<\/p>\n
