ITV has commissioned a second season of its horse-racing series Champions: Full Gallop<\/em>, which is expected to bow in autumn 2025.<\/p>\n

The show follows the highs and lows of jump jockeys through a season of competition. Season two will capture even more drama as the jockeys battle for the \u00a3500,000 David Power Jockeys\u2019 Cup and take part in some of the biggest events of the racing year, including the Cheltenham Festival and the Randox Grand National.<\/p>\n

Cameras will again gain exclusive access to season one stars Harry Cobden, Sean Bowen, Harry and Dan Skelton, and Paul Nicholls, as well as a slew of new faces such as teenage sensation Freddie Gingell.<\/p>\n

Champions: Full Gallop<\/em> is produced by South Shore and supported by Flutter, the Horserace Betting Levy Board (HBLB) and Racecourse Media Group (RMG).<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are looking forward to welcoming Champions: Full Gallop<\/em> back to ITV for a second series,\u201d said Lily Wilson, commissioning editor at ITV Entertainment. \u201cWe\u2019ll be following all of the action from the stable yards to the race tracks, in what is sure to be another dramatic and exciting season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alan Delmonte, CEO of the HBLB, commented, \u201cHBLB is providing funding toward a second series of Champions: Full Gallop<\/em> following Racing\u2019s confirmation that this will be a key part of the central promotional plan for the sport in 2025. HBLB will also provide additional funds to help Racing promote the series throughout 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRacing, and its various constituents, has come together to ensure a second series of Champions: Full Gallop<\/em>, with special mention for the Levy Board and, again, Flutter for supporting the docuseries,\u201d noted Nick Mills, CEO of Racecourse Media Group. \u201cITV has also been an excellent partner for Racing, and once again offers a terrific shop window which all areas of the sport can derive real benefit from.\u201d<\/p>\n
