This time, they will travel on refurbished vintage bikes from McGregor\u2019s home in Scotland to Boorman\u2019s in England by taking a long route up through Scandinavia, down through the Baltics and across continental Europe.<\/p>\n<p>They will travel to more than 15 countries and will immerse themselves in each country\u2019s culture, meet the locals and try their hand at unique and eclectic activities along the way.<\/p>\n<p>The new series is executive produced by McGregor and Boorman, alongside longtime collaborators David Alexanian and Russ Malkin, who also direct.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn a rather tricky, sandy bit of <em>Long Way Up<\/em>, Charley and I started to daydream about another trip to keep our minds off the scary road at hand!\u201d McGregor said. \u201cThis is that trip. Rusty old bikes and 10,000 miles of Scandinavia and Eastern and Central Europe. A big loop from my house in Scotland to Charley\u2019s house in England. Long way home\u2026magic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt has been such a pleasure to get back on the road on motorcycles with my best friend Ewan,\u201d Boorman added. \u201cWe\u2019ve talked about doing this trip on old bikes since the last one.
