A+E Networks EMEA has commissioned Blink Films and GroupM Motion Entertainment to produce a docuseries about what happened on the Channel Island of Alderney during World War II.<\/p>\n
The two-parter, entitled Hitler\u2019s British Island<\/em>, will delve into the true extent of the Nazi-inflicted horrors there. Produced and directed by Andy Webb (The Diana Interview: Truth Behind the Scandal<\/em>), the title will premiere on Sky HISTORY in the U.K. and on The HISTORY Channel across EMEA later this year.<\/p>\n Dan Korn, VP of programming at A+E Networks EMEA, said, \u201cWith the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the death camps fast approaching, there has never been a more critical moment to examine recently unearthed evidence of a cover-up of Nazi atrocities committed on British soil.
