Box To Box Films has named Bea Hegedus, formerly distribution chief at VICE Media, as its new chief commercial officer.<\/p>\n
Beginning in June, Hegedus will oversee all commercial aspects of the company\u2019s operations, including marketing, brand partnerships, diversifying revenue streams and driving business growth, as well as heading up a new internal partnerships team.<\/p>\n
Hegedus will report to Samantha Lawrence, managing director, and work closely with co-founders James Gay-Rees and Paul Martin.<\/p>\n
Hegedus brings over 20 years of experience to the role. Most recently, she spent four years as VICE Media\u2019s distribution chief, a role in which she fronted the company\u2019s distribution and licensing strategy and launched its FAST business and co-production department.<\/p>\n
Previously, she served as VP of global scripted content at ITV Studios, where she led scripted strategy and helped finance high-end drama for various networks and streaming services. Prior to that, she served as executive VP and head of television for Silver Reel and as president of international distribution for Lionsgate\u2019s unscripted business.<\/p>\n
The new hire follows the recent appointment of former Shine executive producer Tom Hutchings to the team.<\/p>\n
