Cream Productions has bolstered its development team with two promotions and a new hire.<\/p>\n
James Farr has been upped to executive VP of development, expanding his role to oversee the team\u2019s efforts and continue to create and develop programming for broadcast and cable networks, with a focus on true crime, history, pop culture and paranormal.<\/p>\n
Since joining Cream over a decade ago, Farr has developed more than two dozen projects, including Age of Samurai: Battle for Japan<\/em> (Netflix), History of the Sitcom<\/em> (CNN), The Game Show Show<\/em> (ABC) and The World Without Canada<\/em> (History Canada). He has also helped build Cream\u2019s true-crime and paranormal slate, with ID\u2019s Murder U<\/em> and Fear Thy Neighbor<\/em>, as well as the Travel Channel\/discovery+ series Eli Roth Presents: A Ghost Ruined My Life<\/em> and Paranormal Emergency<\/em>.<\/p>\n Cream Productions has tapped Zachary Frank as VP of development, reporting to Farr. Frank will develop and hone the slate across a wide variety of genres. He joins from Blue Ant Studios, where he served as VP of development and oversaw A Secret to Die For<\/em> (CrimeTime) and was an executive producer for Ghosting with Luke Hutchie and Matthew Finlan<\/em> (CBC Gem).<\/p>\n Prior to that, Frank spent nearly a decade at Cream developing Fear Thy Roommate<\/em> (ID), If I Should Die<\/em> (ID), Eli Roth Presents: A Ghost Ruined My Life<\/em> (Travel), I Got Lucky<\/em> (Discovery) and BTK: A Killer Among Us<\/em> (ID).<\/p>\n Jane Churchill-Smith has been elevated to director of development and now reports to Farr. She began her career at Cream as a researcher on the CNN series History of the Sitcom<\/em>.
