South Shore and Bone Soup have been commissioned to produce the new culinary series Tom Kerridge Cooks Britain<\/em> for ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.<\/p>\n

The new show will see Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge embark on a road trip in a remodeled 1950s food truck. He will work alongside food producers across Britain, from Cornish fishermen to Scottish fruit farmers, to learn their secrets and then cook their dedicated teams a well-earned meal.<\/p>\n

The series is made in partnership with Marks & Spencer and will feature producers who supply M&S.<\/p>\n

Tom Kerridge Cooks Britain<\/em> comes via BE Studio from ITV, a full-service creative studio producing ad-funded entertainment. BE Studio helps brands build emotional connections with ITV\u2019s audience through the co-creation of new formats.<\/p>\n

\u201cI spend most of my time in the kitchen, so to get the chance to hit the road and meet great British food producers is an absolute treat,\u201d Kerridge said. \u201cI can\u2019t wait to meet people who are producing amazing ingredients, and getting to cook with these ingredients is a real privilege.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis series showcases Britain in all its culinary and agricultural glory, and it is of course great to be working alongside a chef of Tom\u2019s caliber in bringing the show to life,\u201d said Katie Rawcliffe, head of ITV Entertainment commissioning.<\/p>\n

Bhavit Chandrani, director of BE Studio from ITV, commented, \u201cThe combination of Tom Kerridge, M&S and ITV packs a real punch, and we\u2019re delighted to be able to wrap that all up into one series. Viewers are going to love getting this behind-the-scenes insight into British farming and produce as they learn a few more culinary skills to show off in their own kitchens.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTom celebrates the best British produce in his pubs and restaurants, so this road trip is right up his street,\u201d added Richard Bowron, creative director of Bone Soup. \u201cWhether he\u2019s doing an early shift on a dairy farm or going out in choppy seas to catch fish, Tom will want to get stuck in. And I\u2019m sure everyone will love his recipes.\u201d<\/p>\n
