The debut episode of the weekly podcast <em>Diggin\u2019 Deep<\/em> also premiered, with co-host Hosmer announcing his official retirement from MLB.<\/p>\n<p>Under the MoonBall umbrella, the company will offer a library of acquired and original content.<\/p>\n<p>Seratelli, a former player with the Kansas City Royals and New York Mets, has built a reputable content studio since his transition out of the game. His company, Jersey Filmmaker, has produced content for major platforms and brands like AppleTV, Showtime, MSG &amp; Fanatics with stories surrounding athletes like Floyd Mayweather, Peyton Manning and Aaron Judge.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to officially announce the launch of MoonBall Media,\u201d said Anthony Seratelli, MoonBall founder and CEO. \u201cThe opportunity to fully merge my passion and experience in both sports and storytelling is something I\u2019ve been working towards for a long time. We have an amazingly talented team of producers and creators and we look forward to entertaining audiences through our unique documentaries, weekly podcasts, live sports and much more content to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;ve always had an interest in authentic storytelling and feel this is the perfect time for me to dive into media and create content that&#8217;s entertaining and relatable,\u201d said Eric Hosmer, co-founder. \u201cI feel baseball content is underserved and my goal is for MoonBall to be the leaders in the space.
