He will build on the company\u2019s momentum for premium documentary series and feature docs while developing the slate, with an emphasis on U.S. and international streamer commissions.<\/p>\n<p>The new exec will report to Richard Bond, managing director.<\/p>\n<p>Alex joined VICE Studios in 2020, and his division was responsible for a string of global hits, including <em>Lewis Capaldi: How I\u2019m Feeling Right Now<\/em> (Netflix), <em>Encounters<\/em> (Netflix) and <em>Max Verstappen: Anatomy of a Champion<\/em> (Viaplay). Most recently he co-created and executive produced (with Elton John and David Furnish) the limited series<em> Better Angels: The Gospel According to Tammy Faye<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Bond said, \u201cAlex has an outstanding track record in creating award winning films and series that resonate with a global audience, and I am unbelievably excited that he is coming on board to drive our international expansion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moore added, \u201cDragonfly has a history of unlocking truly ground-breaking access and finding extraordinary characters in their filmmaking.
