Factual distributor TVF International has closed a number of new deals across Iberia, including selling Neanderthal: In the Footsteps of Our Ancestors<\/em>\u00a0to RTVE (Spain).<\/p>\n

The France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions documentary sets the historical record straight on our long-extinct and widely misunderstood relatives.<\/p>\n

RTVE also picked up IFA Media\u2019s docudrama Dun Huang: Ancient Frontier Fortress<\/em>, along with Castro’s Spies<\/i>. RTP (Portugal) also picked up the title. RTVE also licensed new episodes of the long-running series No Luggage<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The indie distributor licensed travel programming to AMC Networks International Southern Europe, RTVE and MSP, including John Torode\u2019s Asia<\/em> from Tin Roof Media, and the PBS-commissioned series Music Voyager<\/em>. Movistar Plus+ also licensed of all series of ITV\u2019s Monster Carp<\/em> and The Grand Fishing Adventure<\/em>, which stars ex pro-footballer Bobby Zamora.<\/p>\n

Aerial series such as The World From Above<\/em> and Aerial Profiles<\/em> proved popular, with all three series of the latter title selling to AMC. AMC also licensed a selection of food titles, including CNA\u2019s In Search of Umami<\/em> and That\u2019s Wine<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Space Farmers<\/em> sold to Movistar Plus+, as well as Channel 4\u2019s The Pill Revolution<\/em>. TV Canaria licensed more science programming, including CBC\u2019s The New Science of Food<\/em>, Will a Robot Steal My Job?<\/em> and The Science of Sleep<\/em>.<\/p>\n

RTP licensing Curiosity Stream\u2019s Why Do We Even Work?<\/em> and When Titans Clash: A New World Order<\/em>. Undercover Asia<\/em> was also in demand in Spain.<\/p>\n

Nurses Wanted: In Desperate Need Of Nurses During a Pandemic<\/em> was licensed by CCMA\u2019s TV3. Meanwhile, RTVE picked up The Truth About Mukbang<\/em>, which delves into the viral phenomenon of binge-eating in front of an online audience.<\/p>\n

RTVE and SIC picked up The Secret Life of Seals<\/em>, a documentary from SVT that dives into the icy world of the Baltic seal. SIC also licensed Galapagos: Edge of the World<\/em>, a series from EBS exploring the unique creatures of the remote archipelago, and NHK\u2019s Animal Instincts<\/em>, among other wildlife titles.<\/p>\n
