The series was commissioned by BBC Scotland and BBC Factual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This installment follows the success of <em>Murder Trial: The Disappearance of Renee and Andrew MacRae<\/em>&nbsp;and 2020&#8217;s BAFTA-winning <em>Murder Trial: The Disappearance of Margaret Fleming<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Innes, executive producer at Firecrest Films, said, \u201cIt\u2019s a privilege to have been granted access to film in the Aberdeen High Court for this high-profile trial. A huge thanks to Brenda\u2019s family and the legal teams for sharing their time around this challenging case, allowing us to highlight the importance of justice and conversations around domestic abuse.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David Harron, commissioner and executive producer for BBC Scotland, added, \u201cWe are absolutely delighted to be bringing viewers another two episodes of <em>Murder Trial<\/em>.
