Factual label KM, part of Banijay France, has tapped former France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions executive Catherine Alvaresse as its new CEO, effective immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alvaresse will define and oversee the factual label\u2019s strategy. Aiming to strengthen the portfolio of projects in development, she will focus particularly on ramping up the label\u2019s documentaries and current affairs programming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new CEO will work closely with Alexia Laroche-Joubert, CEO at Banijay France, and will work hand-in-hand with the existing team of producers on titles such as the new Karl Lagerfeld documentary, R\u00e9v\u00e9lation<\/em>, set to air on Canal+ this month, as well as other major docuseries in the pipeline and long-running daily current affairs series 28 minutes<\/em> for Arte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alvaresse brings over two decades of industry expertise with France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions, Image & Compagnie, Off the Fence, T\u00e9l\u00e9 Images Group, Arte France and France 2. Several documentaries greenlit by Alvaresse have received awards, including the Albert Londres Prize and two International Emmys in 2020 and 2022.
