This includes delving into the lives of Kimberly Pandelios, an aspiring model who disappeared after posing in a lingerie shoot for a mysterious photographer, and Lauren Wambles, an adult film actress who got involved in drug trafficking and far worse with her boyfriend.<\/p>\n<p><em>Lethally Blonde<\/em> will also tell the stories of Marjorie Lee Thoreson, a young runaway lured into using her body to survive in L.A. and whose life spiraled in a bizarre way that ended in a suspicious death; Courtney Clenney, a fitness influencer who became an OnlyFans performer and was later charged with murder after the death of her cryptocurrency trader boyfriend; Crystal Mangum, who made false accusations against the Duke men\u2019s lacrosse team and whose life later devolved into tragedy; and Timothy Boham, a young Midwesterner who, after being discovered by a modeling agent, became a porn superstar before going down a twisted path that ended in murder.<\/p>\n<p>This new series comes after the success of <em>The Playboy Murders<\/em>, which was Madison\u2019s first foray into true-crime television. The series is returning with its second season on January 22. Madison will continue to recount the shocking intersection of murder and mystery within the world of the adult men\u2019s magazine <em>Playboy<\/em>. The new season tells the stories of Sandy Bentley, Dorothy Stratten, Laurie Bambenek, Paula Sladewski, Melonie Haller and Jill Ann Spaulding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>The Playboy Murders<\/em> was the perfect vehicle for Holly Madison to lend her unique knowledge and life experience to the world of true crime,\u201d said Jason Sarlanis, president of Turner Networks, ID and HLN, linear and streaming, at Warner Bros. Discovery. \u201cStories of people whose bodies become sexual commodities extend far beyond the <em>Playboy<\/em> brand and can oftentimes lead them down a dark and dangerous path.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201c<em>Lethally Blonde<\/em> is the natural evolution for Holly to continue to shine light on victims whose lives tragically devolved into harrowing cases of exploitation and murder.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m honored to continue working with ID in bringing these compelling true-crime stories to life,\u201d Madison said. \u201cWe had the chance to delve into some fascinating worlds and cover so many gripping cases this year that explore obsession and murder that tragically affected so many. Being able to relate to their journey, I love ID\u2019s victim-focused approach to storytelling and detailed portrayal of these harrowing events.
