Hannah Springham has been appointed to the newly created position of development director and executive producer at CC-Lab.<\/p>\n
Known for her ability to mix and match genres to create compelling entertainment, Springham\u2019s career highlights include becoming the first female director of Top Gear<\/em>. Her portfolio also includes Gok\u2019s Fashion Fix<\/em>, Supersize vs Superskinny<\/em>, Britain\u2019s Next Top Model<\/em> and Twiggy\u2019s Frock Exchange<\/em>.<\/p>\n Her numerous creating and directing credits also include Sky One\u2019s Pineapple Dance Studios<\/em> and the BAFTA-nominated Rob and Romesh vs\u2026<\/em>, ITV\u2019s The Only Way is Essex<\/em> and E4\u2019s Made in Chelsea<\/em>.<\/p>\n In her new role, Springham will work alongside CC-Lab producer-director Olly Pollard to design and implement development strategy for the award-winning independent. She will report to CC-Lab\u2019s creative director Justin Rees.<\/p>\n Rees said: \u201cWe\u2019ve spent the last quarter of a century producing premium music, arts and live-event programming. As a result, we not only have a quarter of a century of creative talent and experience at our fingertips but also the infrastructure and capacity to do much more. Hannah joins CC-Lab at a pivotal moment as we expand into new sectors. We need somebody with the vision to mash up genres and push boundaries but who\u2019s also able to direct, produce and deliver on time and on budget. There aren\u2019t many people who can deliver that package\u2014Hannah is one of very few.\u201d<\/p>\n Springham added: \u201cMy absolute passion is securing access to people and places that have never been seen on television, from religious orders to people with talking dogs. Finding and telling those unheard stories will be at the heart of CC-Lab\u2019s factual entertainment strategy, and we\u2019re already fizzing with new ideas and possibilities.
