Brook Lapping, part of Zinc Media, has been commissioned to make two more episodes of its documentary series Putin vs the West<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The 60-minute episodes will continue the previous installments of the documentary series, which explored Vladimir Putin\u2019s relationship with the Western world, from Russia’s 2014 invasion of Crimea to its wider invasion of Ukraine. The new episodes will cover the developing war and the West’s response.<\/p>\n

Putin vs the West: War<\/em> (w.t.) was commissioned for BBC Two and BBC iPlayer. The additional episodes are being produced in association with SVT, VPRO, NRK and DR and distributed internationally by BBC Studios Distribution.<\/p>\n

The first three episodes of the docuseries are currently available on BBC iPlayer.<\/p>\n

Norma Percy, series producer for Brook Lapping, said: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted that BBC Two has asked us to continue this series. As we always do, we will take viewers behind the scenes to show how and why the crucial decisions were made, and what it was like for Ukraine\u2019s President Zelenskyy, Britain\u2019s prime ministers and Western leaders as they struggled against Putin\u2019s invasion without provoking World War III.\u201d<\/p>\n

Making this series while the war is ongoing makes the testimony of these world leaders even more powerful.\u201d<\/p>\n
