Little Dot Studios and History Hit have signed an exclusive cross-platform, multiyear content deal with WWII veteran interviewer and documentary maker Rishi Sharma.<\/p>\n
Sharma owns the largest unexplored personal archive of firsthand interviews with those who fought on the frontline, having conducted over 2,000 video and audio interviews over the last eight years. With the average age of a surviving U.S. WWII veteran now being 99, the partnership enables Sharma to complete more interviews before any more stories are lost for good.<\/p>\n
As well as an up-front investment to fund further filming, the deal will also see Little Dot Studios take on channel management and publishing of Sharma\u2019s YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok channels. Little Dot Studios and History Hit will also acquire exclusive FAST, broadcast and AVOD\/SVOD rights to Sharma\u2019s full library, which will be available via Little Dot Studios\u2019 owned and operated media network (including the Timeline, War Stories, Real History and The American Story channels) and FAST output, as well as History Hit\u2019s SVOD and podcast network.<\/p>\n
History Hit has also commissioned a 30-minute documentary following Sharma across the U.S. as he continues to meet more veterans. It will premiere on the platform ahead of Veterans Day\/Remembrance Day on November 11.<\/p>\n
