BossaNova Media has sold a slew of factual programs to U.K. broadcasters Channel 4, Sky, A+E Networks, CBS and UKTV.<\/p>\n
Channel 4 picked up two titles from BossaNova\u2019s history slate, including Hindenburg: The Cover-Up<\/em>. Produced by AMS Pictures, it revisits the story of the massive German airship that crashed into a New Jersey field in 1937 and was destroyed by fire in under 40 seconds for reasons that have never been explained.<\/p>\n The broadcaster also acquired Go Button Media\u2019s Castle Secrets<\/em>, originally produced for Super Channel Canada. The eight-part series explores a historic castle, revealing the secrets of its construction and the lives of the people who once lived in its walls.<\/p>\n Sky in the U.K. acquired four series from BossaNova. This includes season five of Worldmark Films\u2019 Caught on Dashcam<\/em>, featuring road incidents filmed by motorists; Greenstone TV\u2019s Highway Cops<\/em>, following officers as they strive to keep drivers safe on New Zealand\u2019s roads; and Greenstone\u2019s Highway Patrol<\/em> and Motorway Patrol<\/em>.<\/p>\n A+E Networks\u2019 U.K. service bought Go Button Media\u2019s Mysteries of the Ancient Dead<\/em>, which sheds light on ancient civilizations\u2019 relationship with death, as well as a second season of Content Kings\u2019 Secrets of The Lost Liners<\/em>. The series explores ocean liners that have been lost at sea over the last 100 years.<\/p>\n CBS licensed Homicide with Ron Iddles<\/em>, produced by CJZ.
