She visits a different region in each episode to see how ancient meets modern in the cuisine.<\/p>\n<p>Longoria travels to Mexico City, Oaxaca, Veracruz and more.<\/p>\n<p>The series, produced by RAW, which also produced<em> Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy<\/em>, will debut on BBC Two and iPlayer on October 8. Banijay Rights handles global distribution of the series outside of the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a Mexican-American, this show allowed me to connect with my roots in a profound way, exploring the rich culinary heritage of the land of my ancestors,\u201d Longoria said. \u201cThrough this journey, I discovered the magic that lies within Mexican cuisine, where history, culture and flavor converge.
