The 2023 International Emmy for the news category was presented to The Battle for Bucha & Irpin<\/em>, produced by Sky News (U.K.). This coverage depicts the start of the brutal battles for Bucha and Irpin on March 5 of last year, when Russian troops attempted to surround Kyiv.<\/p>\n The International Emmy for the current affairs category was presented to Ukraine Wartime Diaries<\/em>, produced by TRT World\/Off The Grid (Turkey). Under the laws of war, civilians should be protected; in Ukraine, it looks like they were targeted.
