National Geographic has signed a first-look deal with the Emmy- and Peabody Award-winning production company Muck Media for a slew of unscripted series and specials.<\/p>\n
The deal expands the relationship between the two companies, which have already worked together on Trafficked with Mariana van Zeller<\/em>. Van Zeller is a partner at Muck Media, alongside Cristina Costantini, Darren Foster, Jeffrey Plunkett and Alex Simmons.<\/p>\n In December 10, National Geographic will debut Science Fair: The Series<\/em>, a spin-off of the Sundance Festival Favorite and Emmy-winning feature documentary directed by Costantini and Foster. It will become available on Disney+ and Hulu.<\/p>\n \u201cNational Geographic is synonymous with adventure, curiosity and exploration, which are at the core of Muck\u2019s approach to storytelling,\u201d van Zeller said. \u201cFrom quirky teenagers studying science to black market operators and everything in between, Nat Geo has been so incredibly supportive of our work.
