{"id":20128,"date":"2023-09-19T09:26:12","date_gmt":"2023-09-19T13:26:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/rtl-becomes-german-home-jamie-oliver-content\/"},"modified":"2023-09-19T11:07:38","modified_gmt":"2023-09-19T15:07:38","slug":"rtl-becomes-german-home-of-jamie-oliver-content","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/rtl-becomes-german-home-of-jamie-oliver-content\/","title":{"rendered":"RTL Becomes German Home of Jamie Oliver Content"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fremantle has secured an output deal for Jamie Oliver programming and lifestyle content with RTL Deutschland.<\/p>\n<p>The multiyear agreement sees RTL become the exclusive home of Jamie Oliver\u2019s portfolio of shows in Germany, securing exclusive rights for pay TV, free TV and streaming via AVOD and SVOD.<\/p>\n<p>The German premieres of several Jamie Oliver cooking formats will air on the pay-TV channel RTL Living, with the formats also set to premiere on the free-TV platform VOXup. Further specials and Jamie Oliver events are in discussion for the flagship channels of RTL Deutschland. On RTL+, the shows will be available for streaming via AVOD and SVOD.<\/p>\n<p>Maximilian Bolenius, senior VP of distribution for German-speaking Europe and Israel at Fremantle, said: &#8220;We\u2019re incredibly excited to be starting a new chapter for Jamie Oliver programming and lifestyle content in Germany, working closely and expanding our relationship with RTL Deutschland. The deal will unlock a variety of synergy opportunities across the Jamie Oliver brand via the incredible media portfolio of RTL Deutschland and Bertelsmann. RTL Deutschland will have exclusive rights to its free- and pay-TV channels.
