TVF International has revealed its summer 2023 slate, with a slew of sports, true-crime, history, lifestyle and wildlife titles.<\/p>\n
Among the available sports programs are Driving Force<\/em> and Possibilities<\/em>. Driving Force<\/em> features exclusive interviews with women athletes who have overcome physical and mental barriers to reach the top, including Dame Kelly Holmes, Dina Asher-Smith and Eniola Aluko. Possibilities<\/em> showcases sportswomen across Singapore, Japan and the Philippines.<\/p>\n The three-part sports doc Kung Fu<\/em> is also available, following action star Jacky Heung as he embarks on an adventure to discover the essence of the ancient martial art from its past to its future.<\/p>\n In true-crime, titles on offer include Satanic Panic: The Peter Ellis Story<\/em> and Inside Crime Scene<\/em>. Satanic Panic: The Peter Ellis Story<\/em> gathers footage from lost tapes to unpack one of the most controversial true-crime stories of the 1990s, in which a gay childcare worker was falsely accused of child abuse, infanticide and cannabilism for satanic ritual. The paranoia led to wrongful imprisonment. Inside Crime Scene<\/em>, meanwhile, investigates gruesome crimes and highlights how modern CSI techniques can shed new light on the most complicated cases.<\/p>\n Among the premium history titles available, Ancient Settlements of Europe<\/em> uncovers lost pre-Christian civilizations and unveils their secrets with archaeological digs and CGI reconstructions. Neanderthal: In the Footsteps of Our Ancestors<\/em> follows archaeologists as they race against time to preserve the world\u2019s largest collection of prehistoric footprints, unearthing new discoveries that could alter our understanding of neanderthals.<\/p>\n Wildlife programs include Lions: Now or Never<\/em>, exploring how to save the majestic species and investigates the truth about trophy hunting; Secrets of the Aquarium<\/em>, taking viewers inside the U.K.\u2019s largest aquarium; Bear: Koala Hero<\/em>, following the detection dog Bear and his team as they rescue and rehabilitate injured koalas after destructive bushfires; and Galapagos: Edge of the World<\/em>, bringing viewers on a journey around the islands that inspired Charles Darwin\u2019s Theory of Evolution.<\/p>\n The lifestyle catalog features Growing Wild<\/em>, exploring how urban gardening can help us reconnect to nature. The food slate includes Paula McIntyre\u2019s Hamely Kitchen<\/em>, showcasing traditional Gaelic recipes handed down through the generations.
