TVF International has closed a number of sales for titles across a broad range of genres with broadcasters and platforms across Latin America.<\/p>\n
Pan-regional broadcaster A+E Networks Latin America licensed 18 hours of premium history titles, including Asia\u2019s Ancient Civilizations<\/em>. From IFA Media, the eight-parter sees Singaporean scholar Peter Lee explore the rise and fall of mighty Asian empires.<\/p>\n A+E Networks Latin America also picked up Lost Treasure Tombs of the Ancient Maya<\/em>, originally commissioned by Channel 4, France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions and Discovery Science, as well as Untold Arctic Wars<\/em>, commissioned by Yle.<\/p>\n In Brazil, Globo bought seasons nine, ten, eleven and twelve of The World from Above<\/em>, as well as Channel 4\u2019s Sex, Myths and the Menopause<\/em>. Elsewhere in Brazil, Arte 1 acquired a slew of art titles such as Keith Haring: Street Art Boy<\/em> and Basquiat: Rage to Riches<\/em>. The Brazil-based VOD platform Aquarius licensed a package that includes Jim-Al-Khalili\u2019s Guide to Life, the Universe and Everything<\/em> and How to Start a Revolution<\/em>.<\/p>\n Pan-regional deals were inked with the Smithsonian Channel and National Geographic. Smithsonian Channel renewed the royal docudramas Inside Windsor Castle<\/em> and Inside Buckingham Palace<\/em> for its Central, South and North American channels.
