ICS Nordic is working on a 3×30-minute documentary series and 90-minute feature doc about Maila Nurmi, the American actress best known for creating the camp 1950s character Vampira.<\/p>\n

The series and documentary will examine the life and legacy of Nurmi, TV\u2019s first “horror host” and creator of The Vampira Show<\/em>. ICS Nordic negotiated the worldwide rights with Los Angeles-based publisher Feral House for Glamour Ghoul: The Passions and Pain of the Real Vampira<\/em> by Nurmi\u2019s niece, Sandra Nurmi.<\/p>\n

ICS Nordic’s Ilkka Hynninen is joined on the creative team by Finnish actor and writer Irina Isberg (The Secret Lives<\/em>), who will help shape the project\u2019s narrative structure and thematic development. The creative team will also include Finnish producer Erna Aalto (Lakeside Muders<\/em>), who is set to join ICS Nordic next month as partner and operations director.<\/p>\n

Rainmaker Content will represent the projects in all territories.<\/p>\n
