Autentic Distribution has secured deals in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia for its new and existing lineup of documentaries.<\/p>\n
Australian broadcaster SBS picked up 14 hours of programming, including the upcoming history series A Cold War of Spies<\/em>, which was presented at the MIPDoc International Buyers Screenings.<\/p>\n SBS\u2019s package also includes World\u2019s Most Punctual Train\u2014Japan\u2019s Shinkansen<\/em> and Love & Dolce Vita\u2014History of the Amalfi Coast<\/em>.<\/p>\n The Ukrainian documentary Against All Odds<\/em> was acquired by Germany\u2019s n-tv, Japan\u2019s NHK and Iceland\u2019s R\u00daV. NHK also picked up two wildlife programs, while R\u00daV bought a second Ukrainian production, Mariupol. UnLost Hope<\/em>, which was also acquired by PBS UK.<\/p>\n Autentic Distribution inked several package deals for blue-chip wildlife productions. Swiss broadcasting company SRF signed a deal for six titles from Terra Mater Studios, including Wondrous & Wild<\/em> and Miami Wild<\/em>. Spain\u2019s RTVE acquired six nature and people & places titles, including Once Upon a Time in Tsavo<\/em> and Tasmania\u2014Weird and Wonderful<\/em>. Canada\u2019s Radio-Canada acquired Secrets in the Scat<\/em>, while Ireland\u2019s TG4 and Finland\u2019s Yle took Canada\u2014Surviving the Wild North<\/em>.<\/p>\n Viasat purchased a 13-hour wildlife package that includes Grasslands: North America\u2019s Hidden Wilderness<\/em> from Terra Mater Studios, White Winter\u2014A Season on the Northern Alpine Rim<\/em> from Nautilusfilm and In Search Of Snow Leopards: Chasing Shadows<\/em> from Bedi Film.<\/p>\n The BBC signed a deal for Berlin 1933\u2014Diary of a Metropolis<\/em> after previously picking up Berlin 1945. \u010cesk\u00e1 televize bought Berlin 1933<\/em> as well, along with seven nature titles such as American Ocelot<\/em> and Great Lakes Untamed<\/em>.<\/p>\n Sweden\u2019s public broadcaster SVT picked up Music Under the Swastika\u2014The Maestro and the Cellist of Auschwitz<\/em> and Wanted\u2014The World\u2019s Most Dangerous Arms Dealer<\/em>.
