Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All<\/em>, a four-part docuseries about the eponymous music superstar from Fulwell 73 Productions (Elton John Live: Farewell from Dodger Stadium<\/em>), is slated to debut on Disney+ on May 3.<\/p>\n

For the first time, Sheeran opens the doors into his private life as he explores his journey to the world stage and over a decade of writing and producing chart-topping hits. The series\u2019 premiere is timed to coincide with the release of Sheeran\u2019s sixth album, – <\/em>(Subtract<\/em>), due May 5.<\/p>\n

Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All<\/em> features exclusive, personal archive and present-day interviews with his wife and loved ones, as well as intimate performances in cinematic locations. It will give fans a glimpse into what Sheeran thinks of the world, himself and his music.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this docuseries, we\u2019re going to reveal a side of Ed Sheeran that fans have never seen before,\u201d said Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television. \u201cTogether with Fulwell 73, we\u2019ve created something truly authentic and personal that will not only entertain audiences but also inspire them to dream big and pursue their passions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always been very guarded in my personal and private life; the only documentary I\u2019ve ever made has been one that focused on my songwriting,\u201d said Sheeran. \u201cDisney approached me to make a four-part documentary, and it felt like the right time to open the door and let people in. I hope people enjoy it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fulwell 73 partners Ben Turner and Ben Winston added, \u201cEveryone in the world knows and loves Ed Sheeran\u2019s songs, as he has been the soundtrack to so many moments of our lives. But this series of films shows the true man behind the hits, showing Ed in an entirely different way after a tumultuous year personally and professionally.
