Banijay Rights has renewed its first-look development deal with factual specialist Proper Content for another two years.<\/p>\n
Both companies will continue to develop and produce series for the U.K. and international markets, building on the deal they signed at the IndieLab Accelerator in 2019. The partnership has resulted in projects such as The School That Tried to End Racism<\/em>.<\/p>\n The renewal agreement was brokered by Banijay Rights\u2019 VP of acquisitions, Leila Hobday, who recently joined the company from BBC Studios. \u201cFrom groundbreaking social experiments to incredible access documentaries, our partnership with Proper Content has been nothing but fruitful, and we are pleased to extend it for another two years,\u201d Hobday said.<\/p>\n David DeHaney, creative director of Proper Content, added, \u201cBanijay have been a great partner, offering advice, production support and delivering in sales.
