Intuitive Content has strengthened its leadership team with two internal movements, including founder and CEO Andrew Zimmern taking on the role of chairman.<\/p>\n
After founding Intuitive nine years ago, Zimmern will be transitioning into his new role to allow for a more robust growth strategy and execution as the company continues to expand.<\/p>\n
Patrick Weiland, who joined the company as senior VP of programming and development, has been promoted to president. He will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the company, spearheading partnerships and identifying strategic growth initiatives. He will continue to manage the company\u2019s slate across food, travel, true crime and wildlife, as well as expand the slate into new genres such as home, lifestyle, real estate and more.<\/p>\n
Since joining Intuitive, Weiland has developed and produced more than a dozen series, including Family Dinner<\/em> and Zo\u00eb Bakes<\/em> for Magnolia, What\u2019s Eating America<\/em> for MSNBC, Feral<\/em> and Wild Game Kitchen<\/em> for Outdoor Networks, The Zimmern List<\/em> for Travel Channel, Big Food Truck Tip<\/em> for Food Network, How to Survive A Murder<\/em> for Sky TV and Reelz, as well as the upcoming Hope in the Water<\/em> with David E.
