Texas Crew Productions, part of Asylum Entertainment Group, has entered a first-look co-production partnership with W. Hulsey Smith\u2019s V1 Productions.<\/p>\n
Texas Crew (30 for 30 Brian and the Boz<\/em>, The 44th President: In His Own Words<\/em>) and V1 (Straight and Level<\/em>) have already joined forces and sold an unannounced project that is currently in preproduction to a premium streaming platform.<\/p>\n Their partnership will amplify Texas Crew\u2019s slate of unscripted programming and leverage V1\u2019s production framework. V1 was founded in 2019 by W. Hulsey Smith and Olive Chinaria and was built by filmmakers for filmmakers.<\/p>\n V1 has high-tech mobile editing bays, 53-foot camera tractor-trailers, EP trailers and mobile screening facilities. It also has one of Texas\u2019 largest full-service postproduction houses, with facilities in Forth Worth and Dallas offering four state-of-the-art editing bays, sound design suite, sound editing, picture editing, mastering suite, and complete film and video library catalog and archive services.
