Coming Out for Love<\/em>, the first U.S. lesbian dating show, is slated to premiere on February 14 across various digital streaming platforms, with new episodes airing weekly.<\/p>\n

The competition sees 16 queer women live together under one roof and participate in emotional and physical challenges to win weekly keys that unlock the heart of season one\u2019s Single, influencer and activist Amber Whittington. Actor and activist Jessica Clark (True Blood<\/em>, Season of Love<\/em>) hosts.<\/p>\n

Coming Out for Love<\/em> comes from queer filmmaker Nicole Conn (A Perfect Ending<\/em>, Elena Undone<\/em>, More Beautiful For Having Been Broken<\/em>) through her Nicole Conn Films Global, in partnership with Just Jo Productions.<\/p>\n

Of the show\u2019s host, Conn said, \u201cJessica is made for this. She’s our Padma Lakshmi and Cat Deeley all rolled into one. Her imprint is so strong on this series, we immediately made her a producer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of season one\u2019s Single, Conn added, \u201cAmber is Gandhi and Barack Obama\u2019s love child. She is the absolute strongest first lead we could have ever imagined and everyone in America will fall in love with her.\u201d<\/p>\n

The series features a slew of queer celebrities as judges and guests, including Sedona Prince (Oregon Ducks basketball star); Stoney Michelli Love (CEO and founder of Stuzo Clothing); Caroline Rose Giuliani (filmmaker, political activist, writer); Whitney Mixter (Showtime\u2019s The Real L Word<\/em>); Jill Osur (gender, racial and social activist, CEO of Teneral Cellars); fashion designer Nik Kacy (founder of Equality Fashion Week); Franco Stevens (Curve<\/em>) and her wife, Jen Rainin (Ahead of the Curve<\/em>); Tisha Floratos-Silano (Olivia Travel); Taner\u00e9lle (singer\/songwriter); and Brooke Eden (country music singer).<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always been labeled a pioneer and am proud to have the first female-loving-female reality dating competition show make Herstory in 2023,\u201d Conn said. \u201cMy daughter Gabrielle and I have watched The Bachelor<\/em> together faithfully for years, rooting for our front-runners. I kept wishing there was a show that represented the love of two mothers she\u2019d experienced in her own life. I\u2019ve wanted to make this show for over 15 years. My business partners Lissa Forehan, Brandon Amelotte, and I thought we\u2019d try and have some fun with a small budget. After day one, we knew we were onto a project we’d all be damn proud of in its representation of a very diverse, multi-talented group of young queer women. THIS is the future of reality dating shows.\u201d<\/p>\n
