BBC Studios\u2019 bid scored highest against the published criteria\u2014across editorial proposal and capability, value for money, how it delivers against the BBC\u2019s strategic priorities and risk.<\/p>\n<p>The contract is for 18 one-hour episodes per season over two years (36 episodes in total), with delivery starting in late summer 2023. In addition to the main series, the contract covers the delivery of <em>Antiques Roadshow<\/em> specials.<\/p>\n<p>Catherine Catton, head of commissioning for factual entertainment and events, said: \u201c<em>Antiques Roadshow<\/em> is loved by audiences across the U.K. and is at the heart of the Sunday night schedule on BBC One. This was a highly competitive bidding process, and we would like to commend all the eligible producers for the high-quality and comprehensive bids they put forward.
