Rive Gauche Television and sister company AfterShock Comics have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in California.<\/p>\n
Rive Gauche Television, led by Jon Kramer as chairman and CEO, represents a slate of non-scripted content. In October 2020, it merged with AfterShock Comics.<\/p>\n
According to the bankruptcy filing, Rive Gauche has assets of between $50 million and $100 million. It has up to 49 creditors and between $10 million and $50 million in liabilities. Its biggest creditor is Jupiter Entertainment, the production company behind shows such as Snapped<\/em> and Homicide Hunter<\/em>, to which it owes almost $1.5 million.<\/p>\n Other significant creditors include TBS ($756,000), AMC Networks International ($376,000) and Warner Bros.
