Beyond Rights has closed a slew of sales with U.K. broadcasters for over 250 hours of factual programming.<\/p>\n
Among the new deals, Sky picked up season 15 of Primate Planet Productions\u2019 Monkey Life<\/em> and renewed the rights for Woodcut Media\u2019s How I Caught the Killer<\/em> and Seven Studios\u2019 Motorbike Cops<\/em>.<\/p>\n A+E Networks UK acquired the eight-part investigative history series Loot<\/em>, produced by EQ Media Rights.<\/p>\n For its recently launched ITVX platform, ITV picked up a true-crime package that includes one season of A Stranger in My Home<\/em> from CMJ Productions, three seasons of Seven Productions\u2019 Beach Cops<\/em>, a season of Dark Minds<\/em> from Beyond Productions and Encounters with Evil<\/em> from ITN Productions.<\/p>\n CBS Reality in the U.K. also struck a deal for a package of crime and investigation titles, featuring three seasons of A Stranger in My Home<\/em>, five seasons of Beyond Productions\u2019 Facing Evil<\/em> and two of Inside Crime<\/em>, produced by Nine Network.<\/p>\n UKTV licensed Kathy Burke: All Woman<\/em> by Flicker Productions, a season of Like A Shot\u2019s Abandoned Engineering<\/em> and Wild Pictures\u2019 Stacey Dooley: Locked Up With the Lifers<\/em>.<\/p>\n Discovery, meanwhile, acquired season 11 of Beyond Productions\u2019 Deadly Women<\/em>, season four of BGM\u2019s Haunted Hospitals<\/em> and 45 hours of Friel Kean Films\u2019 Money for Nothing<\/em>, including season four and a special celebrity season.<\/p>\n Lastly, OUT TV\u2019s U.K. platform picked up two seasons of Great Pacific Media\u2019s Queen of the Oil Patch<\/em>, while Earthx TV acquired two seasons of Breakout Productions\u2019 Aussie Snake Wrangler<\/em>s, as well as Damn Good Productions\u2019 environmental travel series Leave No Trace<\/em>.<\/p>\n Joanna Rowley, Beyond Rights\u2019 senior VP sales for the U.K., said: \u201cI am thrilled that some of our shows will be part of the lineup as ITVX launches in the U.K., and I am delighted that our evolving catalog of new shows such as Loot<\/em> and new seasons of long-running ratings-winners such as Monkey Life<\/em> and Deadly Women<\/em>\u2014all produced by some of the world\u2019s best Indies\u2014continues to meet the requirements of so many of the U.K.\u2019s leading broadcasters.
