The game show <em>Jinxed<\/em> sees contestants who suffer from a string of bad luck get a chance to win cash prizes, while <em>Mexico Oscuro<\/em> follows Derbez and a paranormal expert as they meet with a celebrity to visit spooky locations in Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>Derbez is co-developing and producing <em>Mexico Oscuro<\/em> with Banijay Mexico &amp; U.S. Hispanic.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Derbez hosts Unicable\u2019s <em>Members on Air<\/em> and is the main protagonist in HBO\u2019s <em>Mam\u00e1 Para Rato<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we continue to ramp up our development efforts in our first year, we couldn\u2019t be more excited to be partnering with someone as talented as Jos\u00e9 Eduardo on these compelling new series,\u201d said Marie Leguizamo, managing director of Banijay Mexico &amp; U.S. Hispanic. \u201cHe has tremendous experience as a comedian, actor and host, which is ideal for these two new productions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Derbez said, \u201cWhen my friends from Banijay talked to me about these projects, I didn\u2019t hesitate on accepting them.
